Mirror Lake "Danau Cermin", Kalimantan

In East Kalimantan, there is a lake like a giant mirror. This lake has name Labuan Cermin. The reason why this lake has name Labuan Cermin which has meaning Mirror Port because the water of this lake is clear blue as if every image is reflected on it. Labuan Cermin lake is like a hidden treasure because not many traveler who knows this place, but the beauty of this lake like a giant mirror can not be denied. The lake is located in the village Biduk-biduk, Berau, East Kalimantan. To reach this lake, it takes approximately 20-24 hours journey by road from Samarinda or 6 hours by airline from Sepinggan Airport, Balikpapan Airport to Cape Redeb. If you already  know The Exotic Derawan, then this place can be reached within three hours by ship or boat from Derawan. Ya...It is quite tiring trip but don't worry the beauty of this lake is worth for that tired of trip we got.

Before reaching Labuan Cermin Lake, you should browse the jungle trekking for 30-45 minutes. Forests are very wild and challenging. You will find lush trees and wild animals such as monkeys, wild boar, birds, gibbons and sun bears, gibbons. Ehm.. it is really thrilling journey. On arrival in Labuan Cermin, a stretch of blue water that will invite admiration. Indeed, the view is hard to find anywhere. Large lake, the water is colored clear blue and surrounding with green trees, seemed to take you to another world. Not only that, the lake is like a giant mirror reflecting the image around any objects.

Labuan Cermin lake is very unique because it has a freshwater on the surface and at depths about 2 meters from the surface there is a flow of salt water to goto the bottom of the lake. What makes it unique is the second type of water is not mixed. This will be evident when you dive and feel the bubbles of water and some warm spots or white layer which like divide those waters. That is the boundary between sea water and fresh water. No one has done research in this area so that the formation of this phenomenon remains a mystery. Differences are what makes this lake is inhabited by two organisms from two of the world, freshwater fish that live on the surface, and sea water fish on the lake bottom. Prepare yourself for diving, snorkeling, and swimming. The water was very cold, clear, and fresh. The beauty of marine life should not be questioned. Water plants, fish and beautiful natural stones in the water makes you as if in a dream. If you want to scuba diving and snorkeling in here, you have to bring your own equipment because there is no rental equipment in here yet. It seem still so natural beauty...

The Amazing Beauty of Na Pali Coast, Hawaii

When I was watching Jurassic Park I was wonder where is that beautiful place, is it exist and real? And I was thinking too that the setting place for taking Jurassic movie is only animation, but when I read that place really exist in this world make me want to know more about this place. So where is it? Maybe I late for this information but I still want to share about this place in here.
The amazing beauty of Na Pali along the shore of Kauai, Hawaii, and the rugged coastline will give the visitor unforgettable adventure. Na Pali means “the Cliffs” and those characteristic sheer cliffs which drop 4,000 feet (1200 m) straight down into the ocean make much of Na Pali Coast inaccessible by car. Nā Pali Coast State Park has 6,175 acres and stretches for 16 rugged miles along the northwest side of Kauai paradise. Honopū Valley has been made iconic from movies filmed on Na Pali. After seeing the pictures many times and decide to make the post in here then I know the reason why many people told that Hawaii is so beautiful place. Ok... here are photo collection of Na Pali along the shore of Kauai, Hawaii, and the rugged coastline, hope you enjoy.... (courtesy http://www.lovethesepics.com)
Nā Pali Coast's view from the ocean
“Nā Pali Coast State Park encompasses 6,175 acres (2,499 ha) of land and is located in the center of the rugged 16 miles (26 km) along the northwest side of Kauaʻi, the oldest inhabited Hawaiian island.” This rugged coastline on the shore of Kauai literally means “the Cliffs. (this picture make interest to know more about this place)”
Honopū Valley, aerial view. Wikipedia reports, “No landing of any aircraft or boat is allowed in Honopū Valley or on its beach, so visitors must swim from an offshore boat or from neighboring Kalalau Beach. The valley, because of the mystery surrounding the exodus of the people who lived there until the mid-19th century, is sometimes called ‘The Valley of the Lost Tribe.’ In 1922, visiting archaeologists found several skulls thought to be primitive, pre-Hawaiian people. Later studies of the valley and its artifacts determined all of its residents were clearly Hawaiian, but the erroneous legend endures.”
Ruggedly beautiful Nā Pali Coast State Park and famous-in-films Honopū Valley. “Aircraft and boats that are part of Hollywood film productions are the only ones allowed in Honopū Valley. Honopū Valley is perhaps most famous for its appearances in the 1976 remake of King Kong and in the 1998 movie Six Days Seven Nights. In the 1976 remake of King Kong the beaches and jungles of Kauai, Hawaii were made to stand in for South Pacific…The producers and production crew of King Kong were told that Honopū Valley was uninhabited, but on the day that they arrived to start filming, they were shocked to find honeymooners on the beach. Scenes that involved filming in the ocean were hard to film due to the 12-foot-high waves. Most of the crew got seasick and one filming boat almost capsized. Examples of involved scenes are when the party arrive on Skull Island and the nighttime arrival to rescue Dawn; other scenes are the arrival of equipment to capture King Kong and Fred Wilson directing the rescue mission…For the film Six Days Seven Nights Hawaii was made to stand in for French Polynesia. Among the scenes filmed on Honopū Beach is the one where Harrison Ford runs from pirates. The arch is also included in the film. Other Hollywood movies with filmed in Honopū Valley are Honeymoon in Vegas, Acapulco Gold, and Raiders of the Lost Ark.”

The Kalalau Trail which DailyVenture described as “Coming around the bend is Hanakapi’ai Beach then Ke’e Beach where the road ends (or begins, from our point of view). This is also the trailhead of the Kalalau Trail. Winding along the cliffs, through valleys and over streams, the Kalalau Trail is a rugged 11-mile (18 km) trek to Kalalau Beach. It takes 4 – 8 hours to do it, depending on speed and experience. In certain aerial photos the trail is visible, razor-sliced into the ridges in bright red strokes.”

Adrenalin skywalk on peak Yunmeng and Tianmen mountain

Just dream you are walking in the hillside and you can see cliff canyon under your feet. If you think it will amazing then you need to try adrenalin skywalk from Yunmen to Tianmen mountain in China. I think China really great to make walking track like the Great Wall and track in Hua Shan to drink tea  then this one is skywalk in hillside from Yunmen to Tianmen mountain. This skywalk at an altitude of approximately 1432 meters above sea level.

On this mountain cliff, skywalk paths made of glass. When someone walks in this path, it's like walking in the middle of the sky. The tourists who want to bypass this pathway is required to use shoe covers. The shoe covers to keep the glass paths always clean. Many tourists who are trying to pass those glass path seemed nervous, as they walked by looking straight down the cliff. But the scenery which covers around the track looks very stunning so many tourist want to try to walk in the glass paths. Pedestrian paths are created along 60.9 meters and connecting the west bank of the summit of Mount Yunmeng and the summit of Mount Tianmen and Zhang Jiajie.

Chinese government build this paths by following the bridges are made in the Grand Canyon in the United States (U.S.). The length of the glass road about 200 feet (61 meters), while the high road line is nearly a mile into the air about 4700 feet (1430 meters). The bridge was made of glass and has a thickness of up to 6.35 centimeters.

While Mount Tianmen in China known for its many natural caves and has a wealth of rare plants. Cable car is also built in the park with a length of 4 miles, which is said to be the longest in the world. A similar path is being built on Mount Shifou. When connected, the line will be stretched up to 2.8 kilometers long. Amazing...

Pink Sand in Komodo Island's beach

I ever talked about beaches with the most charming of sand's color in the world, in this post there is a pink sand beach in Harbor Island, Bahamas. Well... I never think and I just knew it that in Indonesia also have pink beach. Where is pink beach in Indonesia? It is in the lost world land in Indonesia, yap... it is in Komodo Island. As Indonesian I really love this island, it has so beautiful nature, rich with kind of flora and fauna which like from Dinosaurs time, included as best snorkeling and scuba diving spot in Indonesia after Raja Ampat and Wakatobi. Ok... maybe we need to look back to Komodo Island with some photos. Here are:

Do you remember with those pictures? Yes... It is the dragon Komodo and the Island Komodo. I did talk abou those before, now I want to talk about the beach which has beautiful pink sand colors. Here are:

Is it beautiful, isn't it? Pink Beach is a name that given by foreign tourist but by local resident this beach given name as Red Beach (Pantai Merah). Along the coast, there is no building and no populated  so beach is empty still natural, this is one of reason make the tourists who prefer a quiet and beautiful beaches really enjoy it. They said there are only 7 beached in the world which has pink sand color, one of it in Bahamas and in Komodo Island. According to the original, pink sand fraction is composed of red coral, but others say  this pink color is produced due to a sort of microscopic animals called Foraminifera amoebae that produce red or pink light on the rock, do not be surprised if we took a pinch of sand, then it looks red sand in between the white sand.
Interestingly from the beach, when the waves swept sand and pull it back, then sand the color changed into the dark pink, very beautiful. Grains of sand is soft and smooth, feels soft when walking or sunbathing on it.
Activity there other than take pictures, can sunbathe, swim, or just sit and enjoy the scenery. Besides not too crowded and commercial, swimming activity was very pleasant and refreshing eye, because a lot of hard corals and soft corals and colorful still healthy, plus the number of ornamental fish, such as clown fish (Nemo fish), butterfly fish, bat fish and much more.
How to achieve Pink Beach, fairly easy, we flew from Bali to Labuan Bajo then hire speedboat or fishing boats from Labuan Bajo to Komodo Island. Prior to the Pink Beach, tourists usually come before the Park at Loh Liang to see wild life of wild dragons (Komodo) first.
For fans of scuba diving, the underwater world at the Pink Beach very amazing and beautiful, you can follow a dive trip with Dive Operators in Labuan Bajo.
For notes, because of the beach is no shop or restaurant, you are advised to bring your own meal supplies.

Enjoy for your vacation... Visit Indonesia and browse it till left. I love Indonesia....

The hidden of amazing Bryce Canyon rock formation

I live in tropical country when I saw American movie which show Grand Canyon or other canyon make me feels that rock formation are amazing. Today I want to talk about a wonderful Bryce Canyon, I know it is not unique article anymore because this canyon already very famous and there are many websites talk about it. But I want to write it because I found a hidden beauty in Bryce Canyon, not me but I think it is the beauty side. I got this hidden beauty from beautiful mother nature sharing pictures. What is it?
Ok... Let's talk about Bryce Canyon first. From Wikipedia I got information about Bryce Canyon, it is a national park located in southwestern Utah in the United States. The major feature of the park is Bryce Canyon which, despite its name, is not a canyon but a giant natural amphitheater created by erosion along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is distinctive due to geological structures called hoodoos, formed by wind, water, and ice erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary rocks. The red, orange, and white colors of the rocks provide spectacular views for park visitors. Bryce sits at a much higher elevation than nearby Zion National Park. The rim at Bryce varies from 8,000 to 9,000 feet (2,400 to 2,700 m). The park covers 35,835 acres (55.99 sq mi; 145.02 km2)[1] and receives relatively few visitors compared to Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon, largely due to its remote location.

Then what the hidden beauty I talked about? For me the rock formation of Bryce canyon already beautiful but there is other thing that made me tell wow... I don't know a lot information about it. Because I'm very far from Bryce Canyon. Here are the hidden beauty I talked about.

Is that beautiful right? I don't know which one is right, it is in Zion national park or in Bryce Canyon. It is said that it is in  Bryce Canyon but there are 2 person said it is in Zion. They said it has name hoodoo formations. And I think this hoodoo formations is really amazing and beautiful.

The system requires the use of a GPS(Global Positioning System) or other hand-held device like a cellphone to find Geocaches, which are placed all around the city. A Geocache is typically a small container that will usually house trinkets or small items of little value and a logbook. Geocaches can range in size from ammunition boxes to Tupperware containers. I think I need to bold this important informastion about it.
On the Rio Explorer Page, it is said that they will ride awesome features car that have been utilized by the teams to make their way through L.A. in search of an beautiful and adorable singer Christina Milian. Wow... Hunting with these awesome features of Kia Rio's make the duos are starstruck by more than just Christina herself. It’s said that the joy of an adventure is not the destination itself, but the journey that leads you to it. Wactch the video Kia Rio Scavenger Hunt below and give your comment about it.
